this area was the heart of Biggar Mill, housing the intricate gearing mechanisms

that once powered its work. During renovations, troughs were found embedded into the floor,

believed to have been used to tend to horses.

TODAY

this cozy space functions as somewhat of a lounge.

An area like this, gives you the ability to work, relax,

or just take in a different experience while staying a The Old Mill.

This public area is layed out in hopes of retaining this building’s original charm, featuring exposed stonework, wooden beams, and subtle quirks of history. This room is also equipped with comfortable tables and chairs, a public bathroom, and locally produced artwork across its walls.

We hope that this cozy environment brings a welcoming feel to the property.
